Practice Professor of Law heads up the team.

Lance is Principal Practitioner of Jones Elferink. He come to the practice qualified in Psychology, Social Work and Teaching as well as Law. He has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the Supreme Courts of both the Australian Capital Territory and South Australia and as a Barrister to The High Court of Australia. Lance is an accredited Independent Children's Lawyer and is listed on the SA Mental Health Appeals Panel.

Lance has been appointed as Practice Professor to the Law Team at the Southern Cross University Faculty of Business, Law and Arts. where he lectures in Legal Practice, Business, Commercial and Stock Exchange Law. Lance's current teaching commitments in Global/International Business Law sees him teaching students across the world in China, SE Asia and The Pacific Region. He has also taught medical law as a "Visiting International Professor" at UNIFA in Haiti, Company Law in Papua New Guinea, and International Industrial relations at IIM Rhotak in India. Lance was previously Founder and Executive Director of COMREC Australia Pty Ltd for 25 years, a disability services company employing more than 70 staff across SA.

Lance is a published author, having written two books available online through "Amazon". His highly acclaimed documentary "ANZAC For Schools" is still being seen by tens of thousands of school children throughout Australia, and was Lance's personal gift to the nation on the 100th anniversary commemoration of the landings at Gallipoli. 

A "Diamond Member" of his beloved "South Sydney Rabbitohs", Lance also  "moonlights" as an actor in Musical Theatre across Australia, where he has appeared in a number of Principal roles on stage, as well as on film and as a musician.
